Behavioral Health

Swope Health Services provides a full array of services for ALL of our patients' health care needs. At Swope Health Central, we are a "One–Stop Shop," meeting the following health care needs all under one roof:

Children and Adolescents
Child/Adolescent Services provides an array of services and programs to assist families in handling the concerns they face with children and adolescents. Our primary goals are to provide services that promote the mental health of children and their families, enable families to stay together, keep children successful in school and create strong bonds between the family and the community.

Effective Parenting Skills

This parenting training program is designed for parents of any experience level. It can serve as a solid initial skills and concept training for beginning parents, as well as a good refresher with some new ideas for experienced parents. The format will include part lecture, part video presentation, and part discussion. Limited participant "homework" will be assigned as practice for mastery of skills and concepts. Class will meet on Mondays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Attendance at all sessions will be required for completion of Course Certificate. Promptness is requested as a consideration for the class. Contact David Francis, MSW, LCSW, in SHS Behavioral Health at 922-7645, extension 6480, to register.
