Patients should know…

I enjoy providing my patients with care and compassion that they may not receive elsewhere. Being able to help individuals who otherwise may not receive care is very rewarding. The gratitude you receive from patients for providing basic healthcare is what I enjoy the most.

I received my LPN and RN degrees at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO. I received my BSN at University of Wyoming. I received my MSN, FP, at Maryville University. I am currently working on my DNP at Graceland University.

Joined SHS in September 2015. My practicums were carried out at Bothwell Regional Health Center offices in Sedalia, MO. Prior to here, I was with CVS Minute Clinic for a short time as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I was at Bothwell Regional Health Center for seven years. I started as an RN in the ICU at Bothwell and then became a BSN. I worked their until I became a FNP.

Background and passions

I am from Otterville, MO. It’s a tiny town 15 minutes east of Sedalia. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughters. We enjoy exploring the city and all it has to offer. They keep me pretty busy with their schooling and activities. If I have time to myself, I enjoy reading a good book.
